Terms and Conditions

Effective from: 23 October 2026

§ 1. General provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using the nadwodospadem.com.pl website, making bookings and staying at the “Nad Wodospadem” Centre in Międzybrodzie Bialskie (hereinafter: the “Centre”).
  2. The Centre is run by NAD WODOSPADEM Sp. z o.o., ul. Medyków 19, 34-312 Międzybrodzie Bialskie, Poland, NIP: 634-10-43-812, REGON: 008119048, e-mail: info@nadwodospadem.com.pl, phone +48 796 862 060 (hereinafter: the “Centre” or “we”).
  3. These Terms apply to everyone staying on the Centre's premises. Making a booking or checking in means accepting these Terms.
  4. Terms agreed individually in an offer or agreement (e.g. for groups, companies, schools and private events) take precedence over these Terms.

§ 2. Using the website

  1. All you need to use the website is a device with internet access and an up-to-date browser.
  2. Through the website you can send an enquiry, contact us or go to the online booking system. Sending an enquiry is not a booking and does not oblige you to conclude an agreement.
  3. It is forbidden to send unlawful content through the website or to take actions that disrupt its operation.
  4. Prices and descriptions on the website are for information only and do not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code. The terms confirmed in the offer, booking or agreement are binding.
  5. Photos, texts and the logo on the website are protected by copyright and may not be copied without our consent.

§ 3. Bookings and payments

  1. Bookings can be made through the online booking system, by phone, by e-mail or through booking portals.
  2. A booking becomes binding once a deposit of 30% of the order value is paid within the time limit stated in the confirmation (usually 7 days). If the deposit is not paid on time, the booking is cancelled.
  3. The deposit paid is credited towards the total amount due. If the guest cancels or does not start the stay, the deposit is non-refundable unless the parties have agreed otherwise (Article 394 of the Polish Civil Code). If the agreement is not performed through the Centre's fault, we refund twice the deposit.
  4. The dates can be changed subject to availability, by arrangement with reception.
  5. The remaining amount is payable no later than on the day of arrival, and for groups and events – by the deadline set out in the agreement. We issue VAT invoices on request.
  6. Shortening the stay does not entitle the guest to a refund for unused days.
  7. The local tourist tax, if applicable, is charged in accordance with the municipal resolution and is not included in the price.
  8. Bookings made through booking portals are subject to the cancellation terms of the given portal.

§ 4. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article 38(1)(12) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, consumers do not have the right to withdraw from a distance contract for accommodation, catering and leisure services if the contract specifies the date or period of service. The cancellation rules are set out in § 3.

§ 5. Hotel day, check-in and check-out

  1. The hotel day runs from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival until 11:00 am on the day of departure. Earlier check-in or later check-out is possible subject to availability, by arrangement with reception.
  2. Guests show an identity document when checking in.
  3. Rooms are rented per night. If the guest does not specify the length of stay, the room is deemed to be rented for one night.
  4. Cottages are rented for a minimum of 3 nights; their price does not include breakfast unless the offer states otherwise.
  5. Non-registered persons may stay in guests' rooms between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm.
  6. Guests may not hand over their room to third parties.

§ 6. Rules of stay

  1. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. The hours of events held in the halls are agreed individually in the agreement.
  2. Smoking tobacco and e-cigarettes is strictly forbidden in rooms, cottages and all buildings of the Centre. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. A breach of this ban results in a charge of PLN 300 for ozonating and cleaning the room.
  3. For safety reasons, immersion heaters, irons and other appliances that are not part of the room equipment may not be used in rooms (this does not apply to chargers and audio-video equipment).
  4. Bringing weapons, explosives, narcotics and hazardous substances onto the premises is forbidden.
  5. When leaving the room, guests should close the windows and door and switch off electrical appliances.
  6. The Centre may refuse further services to a person who seriously breaches these Terms, disturbs other guests or damages property. Such a person must leave the Centre without a refund for the unused part of the stay.
  7. The car park on the premises is unguarded.
  8. The Centre's premises (entrances, car park, outdoor areas and common areas) are covered by video surveillance. The surveillance rules are described in the Privacy Policy.

§ 7. Pets

  1. The Centre is pet-friendly. Please let us know when booking if you are bringing a pet. Pets stay free of charge.
  2. Owners are responsible for their pet's behaviour, cleaning up after it and any damage it causes. Dogs should be kept on a lead on the premises.
  3. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant, the pool, sauna and jacuzzi area or the playgrounds.

§ 8. Groups, children and young people

  1. Children and minors stay on the premises under the supervision of their parents or guardians, who are fully responsible for them.
  2. For organised stays (school trips, green schools, summer and winter camps), the organiser provides an appropriate number of supervisors and is responsible for participants complying with these Terms.
  3. The details of a group stay (programme, meals, payment deadlines, number of participants) are set out in the offer or agreement with the organiser.

§ 9. Halls and private events

  1. The terms of hall hire and event organisation (menu, hours, decorations, music, number of guests) are set out in an individual agreement or confirmed offer.
  2. The event organiser is responsible for the behaviour of their guests and any damage they cause.

§ 10. Attractions and leisure

  1. The summer pool, sauna, jacuzzi, sports court, paintball field, shooting range, obstacle course and other attractions may be used in accordance with their specific rules and staff instructions.
  2. Children may use the pool, jacuzzi and playgrounds only under the constant supervision of adults. The sauna may not be used by children without adult supervision or by persons whose health does not allow it.
  3. Attractions are used at your own risk and in compliance with safety rules. Attractions requiring instruction (e.g. paintball, shooting) take place only under the supervision of an instructor.

§ 11. Liability

  1. Guests are liable for damage to the Centre's property caused by them or by persons for whom they are responsible, and must cover it.
  2. The Centre is liable for the loss of or damage to items brought in by guests under Articles 846–853 of the Polish Civil Code. We recommend depositing money, securities and valuables at reception.
  3. The Centre is not liable for vehicles left in the car park or for items left in them.
  4. Items left behind by guests after departure are kept for 3 months and, at the guest's request, sent at the guest's expense.

§ 12. Complaints

  1. It is best to report any comments on our services to reception straight away so that we can respond quickly.
  2. Complaints can be submitted by e-mail to info@nadwodospadem.com.pl or in writing to the Centre's address. We will process a complaint within 14 days of receipt.
  3. Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution methods, e.g. assistance from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman or the Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection.

§ 13. Personal data

The rules for processing personal data are described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

§ 14. Final provisions

  1. Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the Polish Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.
  2. These Terms may change. Changes do not apply to bookings confirmed before they come into force.
